Smoke & Tobacco Free Policy

All Calvert Health System locations are Smoke Free. Smoking is not permitted inside or anywhere on any campus.

Your doctor may prescribe nicotine replacement therapy or other medical assistance for patients if needed. Visitors can find out about our free tobacco cessation programs by calling our KeepWell Center at extension 8233.

Internet Access & Free Wifi

Wireless internet access is available in patient rooms and waiting areas, free of cost. To access our wireless network, select the WiFi-CMH-Guest Network and accept the terms and conditions.

There are three hotels located in the area immediately surrounding the hospital:

Gift Shop

Looking to brighten a patient's day or celebrate the birth of a new child? Our gift shop offers a variety of unique gift items, greeting cards, candy, balloons and fresh flowers. Flowers can be ordered with Visa or MasterCard and delivered to patients.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services

Are you or your companion deaf or hard of hearing and in need of assistance? If so, please let us know so that we can help.

To ensure effective communication with patients, their family members and companions who are hard of hearing, we provide auxiliary aids and services free of charge such as:

• Sign language and oral interpreters
• Video remote interpreting (VRI)
• Written materials
• Telephones with handset volume control
• Open and closed captioning of hospital programs

Pastoral Care serves the spiritual needs of patients and their families. To request a visit, call extension 8249 or tell your nurse. The hospital chapel is open daily from 6 a.m.-9 p.m.
