Volunteers are an essential part of the CalvertHealth team and are greatly appreciated by staff, physicians, patients, and families.

By donating just a few hours each week, volunteers make a meaningful difference in many lives. They provide a valuable “personal touch” to patients and visitors while supporting hospital staff in a variety of ways. Volunteer opportunities include nursing units, the gift shop, same-day surgery, guest services, the campus shuttle, Thrifty Ladies thrift store in Dunkirk and clerical areas. Volunteering offers a rewarding way for individuals to use their spare time to help others and make a positive impact in the community.
