Welcome to CalvertHealth General Surgery
General surgery covers a wide range of procedures performed on almost any organ or system of the body, typically focusing on the abdomen and its contents – the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland. General surgeons also deal with diseases involving the skin, breast, soft issue and hernias.
Dr. Bhogte, Dr. Dalencourt and Dr. Pfalz specialize in laparoscopic and/or minimally invasive procedures whenever appropriate for the patient. Your procedure will be performed in one CalvertHealth Medical Center’s Same Day Surgery operating suites.
