The 2026 CalvertHealth Foundation Benefit Golf Classic Sets Fundraising Record!

05/20/2026
The CalvertHealth Foundation proudly hosted its 37th Annual Benefit Golf Classic, presented by Networking Concepts and Silva Contracting, at The Cannon Club in Lothian on May 11, 2026—raising more than $140,000 in support of women’s health services at CalvertHealth.

This year’s tournament welcomed more than 160 participants, including golfers and volunteers, all united in support of the Foundation’s Women’s Health Initiative. The Golf Classic continues to be one of the region’s most successful fundraising events, bringing together community leaders, sponsors and supporters committed to advancing high-quality healthcare in Southern Maryland.

Proceeds from the event will directly support the advancement of women’s health services, ensuring that patients and families across Calvert County and beyond have access to exceptional, compassionate care close to home. Since its inception in 1990, the Benefit Golf Classic has raised more than $2 million, helping fund critical patient care equipment and vital hospital services at CalvertHealth Medical Center.

Foundation Board Trustee and Golf Committee Chair Maria Icaza of Dunkin’/The Prince Frederick Group shared, “It is an honor to be part of this incredible annual event, which continues to grow year after year thanks to the dedication and generosity of our community. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors and golfers—this tournament would not be possible without their support.”

Jeremy Bradford added, “Because of your support, we are able to expand and strengthen women’s health services—ensuring access to high-quality care for the patients and families who rely on us every day.” That commitment to excellence is reflected in CalvertHealth’s recent achievements. The organization has earned an “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade while also receiving a 5-star rating from CMS—a distinction held by approximately 100 hospitals nationwide.

In total, 152 golfers took to the green making up two flights. The winner of the first flight was Steve Keithley, Nick Holden, Ben Ricker, and Joey Dilodovico.
