Family medicine physician Adair M. McCabe, DO, has joined CalvertHealth Primary Care in Prince Frederick. She brings strong experience in diagnosing, treating and managing a wide range of conditions for every member of the family – babies, children, adolescents, adults and the elderly.
Originally from Roanoke, VA, she developed an early appreciation for community-centered health care and the importance of lasting relationships with patients and families.
Dr. McCabe earned her medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, where she was trained with a holistic, patient-centered approach to care. She then completed her family medicine residency at WellSpan York Hospital in York, PA, gaining broad experience in preventive care and chronic disease management.
Her philosophy of care is rooted in partnership and collaboration. “I am passionate about partnering with patients to help them become the healthiest versions of themselves,” she said. “I believe that family medicine is a team sport – meeting patients where they are and working together toward meaningful, lasting health – and that the best care plan is the one that works for the patient.”
Dr. McCabe said she is excited to be practicing in Calvert County and looks forward to building meaningful connections within the community and caring for local families.
A proud Penn State undergraduate alumna, Dr. McCabe remains an enthusiastic supporter of Penn State football. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter and their two dogs, making the most of every chance to be active and together as a family.
