About CalvertHealth Primary Care

Flu & COVID-19 Vaccine Administration Available for Existing Patients

At CalvertHealth, your health and safety is our top priority. Information about the vaccine is changing rapidly and you may have a lot of questions about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines, as well as how you can obtain a vaccine. We want to provide additional information to help you make an informed decision. If you have specific questions about your health and the vaccine, please contact your provider. Although there are many reasons to get the vaccine, the most compelling is that it could protect you and those around you from this life-threatening virus.

Currently, CalvertHealth Primary Care is offering Flu vaccines for current Primary Care patients and COVID-19 vaccines to existing Primary Care AND CalvertHealth Medical Group patients. I does not matter which CHMG location or provider you normally visit. You can also call to schedule an appointment  by calling 410.414.2778 or by completing our online request form below. Clinic dates and times are updated regularly.

For current primary care patients, vaccinations are also available during office visits—when you arrive for your appointment, just let the team know you’re interested in getting the Flu and/or COVID-19 vaccination that day. The Prince Frederick location has Moderna (age 18+) and Pfizer available (age 12-17); Solomons location has Moderna (age 18+). Both locations have regular and high-dose flu vaccines.

NEW! Important Information Regarding Booster Doses
On September 23, the CDC issued new recommendations for certain individuals who received the Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine - recommending the one booster dose be administered six (6) months after completion of the primary two-dose series. Individuals may self-attest to eligibility. The CDC has not yet released guidance on booster doses for Moderna or Johnson & Johnson. At this time, booster doses are available for immunocompromised individuals (for Pfizer or Moderna) or those 12+ who completed their Pfizer series 6 months ago.

In addition to our availability, the Calvert County Health Department  (CCHD) also continues to offer COVID-19 vaccinations.  Those age 12+ who wish to be vaccinated may click the CCHD button below to register directly on their site.
