Jeremy Bradford, MBA, president and CEO of CalvertHealth, has been elected to serve as an at-large delegate on the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Regional Policy Board 3 (RPB 3), representing the Southeastern United States. His term began this month and will run through December 31, 2028.
The AHA’s Regional Policy Boards play a critical role in shaping national health care policy by identifying regional priorities, discussing emerging issues, and providing recommendations and analysis to the AHA Board of Trustees. Regional Policy Board includes leaders from hospitals and health systems across the Southeast.
“I am honored to serve as an at-large delegate on Regional Policy Board 3,” said Bradford. “Hospitals like CalvertHealth are navigating unprecedented challenges while remaining deeply committed to the communities we serve. I look forward to working alongside colleagues from across the nation to help inform thoughtful, practical policy solutions that strengthen access to high-quality care and support community hospitals now and into the future.”
“The American Hospital Association values CalvertHealth’s efforts in providing high-quality care to the residents of Calvert County and Southern Maryland, and we appreciate Jeremy’s willingness to serve for the next three years on Regional Policy Board 3,” said Matthew Wright, regional executive, American Hospital Association.
The AHA is the national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. Nearly 5,000 hospitals, health care systems, networks, and other providers of care — along with 43,000 individual members — are part of the AHA. Through advocacy, education, and leadership development, the AHA works to advance health in America. Bradford and other policy board members will work together to bring forward policy recommendations to the AHA unique to our region.
Bradford has served as president and CEO of CalvertHealth since 2023, leading the health system’s continued focus on quality, access and community-based care for Calvert County and Southern Maryland.
